Anodes for Spirit 1.0 Plus / Evo Electric Motor

Anodes are metal parts that sacrifice themselves to protect the essential parts of your electric motor from galvanic corrosion, caused by the contact between different metals in a saline environment.

They are essential to ensure the durability and proper functioning of your electric motor, whether for the Spirit 1.0 Plus model or the Spirit 1.0 Evo model from Epropulsion.

These anodes are specially designed to fit these motors and are easy to install.

They are placed on the propeller, the base of the motor, the mounting brackets on the transom, and the bracket plate.

It is recommended to check the condition of your anodes every 50 hours of navigation and to replace them if they are worn more than 50%.

On the SPIRIT 1.0 Plus and SPIRIT 1.0 Evo motors, there are five anodes:

• one on the propeller,
• one on the motor,
• one on each motor mounting bracket on the transom,
• one on the base of the motor

Both motors have the same anodes.

1/ except for the anodes for the motor mounting brackets:

reference SE-TB01-00 (sold in pairs) for the SPIRIT 1.0 Evo motor

reference S1-TB03-06 (sold individually) for the SPIRIT 1.0 Plus motor: you will need to select 2 to cover both motor brackets.

2/ For the propeller anode, there is a unique model for both Plus and Evo motors (reference SP-M012-00)

3/ The motor anode is also identical for the Plus and Evo motors (reference SP-M013-00)

4/ Finally, the base motor anode positioned under the bracket plate is also the same for the SPIRIT 1.0 Plus and Evo motors (reference S1-TB02-05)
