Soft Mooring

Caving anchor, with a hard head designed to receive a Dyneema cord ring Ø 5mm (sold by the metre under ref. NT-0005169), to be ordered separately.

The set constitutes a lightweight and universal anchor without a carabiner (classic anchor, Y-shaped, on a natural point, on the ceiling), or a deviation.

The recommended lengths for the rings are 35 and 60cm flat once closed and tied with a double fisherman's knot (which requires 100 and 150cm of cord respectively).

It can be installed on a bolt (with a supplied stainless steel screw) or on a stud (8mm in both cases).

Tensile strength: 16 kN on the ceiling.

Shear strength: 11 kN on the wall.

Weight: 23g (and 36g for the complete AS anchor mounted at 35 cm).
