It also features a new design (the media module and protective case remain the same as the HERO12 Black model), a new battery, and new battery connection points, GPS and data overlay, a burst mode in slow motion (up to 400 fps in 720p), HDR HLG format in 10 bits, and Wi-Fi 6.

Interchangeable Lenses (OPTIONAL)

The HERO Black Series lenses form a suite of interchangeable lenses that allow you to instantly prepare your camera to capture a wide variety of specialised shots. The HERO13 Black detects the presence of a lens or filter and automatically adjusts its settings. The suite includes the macro lens module, the ultra-wide-angle lens module, a set of four ND filters with intelligent motion blur, and the anamorphic lens module. WARNING: All lenses are sold separately OPTIONAL.

Magnetic Lock Mount

Easily attach and detach your camera for quick and convenient use.
The HERO13 Black is compatible with magnetic lock mounts. Magnets placed near the camera's integrated rods align with the magnetic lock mounts (sold separately) to allow you to install your preferred mounts with a click. A simple pinch is all it takes to remove them.

Improved Enduro Battery

Extended life to capture longer without interruption.
The new Enduro battery for the HERO13 Black has an increased capacity of 1,900 mAh (up from 1,720 mAh previously) providing extended life in all conditions, even in hot or freezing weather. It allows for continuous recording for over 2.5 hours at 1080p30 or over an hour and a half at 4K30 and 5.3K30.
