Sand is undoubtedly the most commonly used filter medium in domestic swimming pools. The sand traps all dirt in the water as it passes through the pores that form in the sand due to its irregular shape. One disadvantage is that the sand requires maintenance as channels form in it and the water is returned to the pool 

The sand should be changed on average once every two years without being filtered.

The amount of sand as well as the size of the filter are determined by the dimensions of the pool, and therefore the volume of water to be filtered.

Sand grain size: 0.6 to 1.6 mm
Gravel grain size: 2 to 4 mm
Packaged in 25 kg bags

Usage :
- Before adding the filter media, fill the tank one third with water.

- First fill the filter with the specified amount of gravel, and then the sand.

- Go slowly to avoid damaging the lower distributors.
