This is a powerful relay that automatically connects the batteries in parallel when one of them reaches the predetermined voltage and separates them when the voltage drops below the FLOATING level. The Cryrix-I is a great alternative to diode separators as there is no voltage drop. The classic installation involves the alternator directly connected to the starting battery. The service battery and bow thruster are connected to the starting battery with the Cyrix-I. When the Cyrix-I senses that the starting battery is fully charged, it will activate and allow parallel charging of the other batteries.
