Compatibility Information:
Suitable for application on fiberglass, wood, steel, and aluminum surfaces. For bare wood, it is recommended to use a primer like Polywood. For new gel coat, degrease with Sirio, sand, and then apply the product. For new steel and aluminum, apply a coat of Anchorprimer, Delta 3000, or Giano.
Application Tips:
- Surface Preparation: Composite: Wash the surface with a detergent, rinse with clean water, and let it dry. Sand with an abrasive grain of 180-280 and clean any dust residue. Wood: Sand with an abrasive grain of 80-120 and clean any dust residue. Apply 2 coats of Defender or Giano (diluted) and sand with an abrasive grain of 180-220. Rinse and let dry. New Gelcoat: De-wax using Sirio, sand, then apply the product. New Steel and Aluminium: First apply a coat of Anchorprimer, Delta 3000, or Giano.
- Application: Tools: Use a brush, roller, or spray gun to apply the paint. Dilution: If necessary, dilute the paint with thinner 703. Ensure that the first coat is completely dry before applying the second.
- Drying: Allow each coat to dry for about 24 hours before applying the next.
