Futura High-Gloss Two-Component Marine Paint

Futura is a high-quality two-component polyurethane marine paint designed to provide exceptional gloss and long-lasting protection against marine elements. It is ideal for surfaces above the waterline, subjected to heavy traffic or exposed to impacts.

• Polishable Finish: The only marine lacquer that can be renewed by polishing with an abrasive paste to restore and maintain its glossy appearance.

Technical Specifications

• Composition: Acrylic and polyurethane two-component system.
• Finish: High-gloss.
• Color Options: Available in various colors, including white, black, blue, light blue, grey, cloud grey, yellow, Matterhorn, oyster white, and red.
• Packaging: Available in 750 ml and 2.5 L formats for the white color; 750 ml only for other colors.
• Coverage: Approximately 10 m² per liter, depending on application method and surface conditions.
• Mixing Ratio: 3 parts Component A to 1 part Component B by volume.
• Pot Life: 3 to 5 hours, depending on temperature.
• Drying Time: Touch dry in 8 hours at 20°C; sanding between coats is recommended after 24 hours.
• Thinners: For spray application, use Boero Thinner P698 (18-25°C) or P697 (23-30°C); for brush or roller application, use P697 diluted to 10%.

• Component B: 187 ml for 750 ml packaging; 625 ml for 2.5 L packaging.

Compatibility Information

Futura is compatible with various primers, including Delta UC HB, Admiral UC, Epoply, and Challenger HS UC. Ensure that the primer is fully cured before applying Futura.
