This product is ideal for preparing surfaces above the waterline before applying the topcoat.

Thanks to its easy leveling and sanding properties, it ensures a perfectly smooth surface, ready to receive the topcoat.

The two-component epoxy formulation guarantees long-lasting protection against marine elements while offering easy application with a brush, roller, or spray gun.

Available in 750 ml and 2.5 L formats, it is perfect for small to medium surfaces.

Application Tips:

how to apply the Epoply two-component epoxy primer from Boero:

1. Surface Preparation :

   • Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dirt, grease, or old flaking paint.
   • Lightly sand the surface to improve adhesion.

2. Product Mixing :

   • Mix the two components (resin and hardener) in the indicated ratio (usually 4:1).
   • Mix well until a homogeneous consistency is achieved.

3. Application :

   • Apply the primer using a brush, roller, or paint sprayer.
   • For brush or roller application, use cross passes for even coverage.
   • If using a sprayer, adjust the pressure and nozzle according to the manufacturer's recommendations.

4. Drying Time :

   • Allow the first coat to dry according to the recommended drying time (usually 24 hours).
   • Lightly sand between coats if necessary.

5. Application of Subsequent Coats :

   • Apply one or two additional coats following the same steps.
   • Ensure each coat is fully dry before applying the next one.

6. Finishing :

   • Once the final coat is dry, lightly sand to achieve a smooth surface.
   • The surface is now ready for the application of the topcoat.
