Application Instructions

  1. Surface Preparation: Ensure the wood is clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or other contaminants. Lightly sand the surface to open the wood pores and improve product penetration.
  2. Product Mixing: Mix the two components of Polywood in a 1:1 ratio by volume. Stir well to achieve a homogeneous mixture.
  3. Application: Use a good quality brush or roller to apply an even coat of Polywood. Apply the product following the grain of the wood for better penetration. Allow to dry according to the manufacturer's instructions (usually 24 hours).
  4. Intermediate Sanding: Once dry, lightly sand the surface with fine sandpaper to eliminate imperfections and improve adhesion of subsequent coats.
  5. Additional Coats: Apply one or two additional coats of Polywood, repeating the drying and sanding process between each coat.
  6. Finishing: After the last coat of Polywood, you can apply a mono-component or bi-component varnish for perfect and durable protection and finish.
