Application Tips

  1. Surface Preparation: Ensure the wood is clean, dry, and degreased. If applying over an existing two-component varnish or lacquer, perform light sanding to improve adhesion.
  2. Mixing the Product: Mix Component A and Component B in a 2:1 ratio. Stir well to achieve a homogeneous mixture.
  3. Application: Apply an even coat using a brush, roller, or spray gun. Follow the grain of the wood for better penetration. Allow to dry according to the manufacturer's instructions (usually 24 hours).
  4. Intermediate Sanding: Once dry, lightly sand the surface with fine sandpaper to eliminate imperfections and improve adhesion of subsequent layers.
  5. Additional Coats: Apply one or two additional coats of Challenger UV, repeating the drying and sanding process between each coat.
  6. Application Conditions: Ensure that the ambient temperature is between 15°C and 30°C and that the relative humidity does not exceed 80% to avoid condensation. Ensure adequate ventilation during application in enclosed spaces.

These steps will help you achieve a professional and durable finish for your wooden surfaces.
