If you are looking for a balanced touring ski for your hikes, the Atomic Backland 85 W model is the one for you. Light enough for the ascent, it offers good floatation on powder while being robust and grippy enough to accompany you both uphill and downhill.

At the centre is an Ultra Light Woodcore made of poplar/carob. The ski's unique shape will facilitate your ascent and ensure a secure grip, especially during long excursions. It also features HRZN Tech Tips at the ends, providing you with 10% more surface area for incredible floatation in powder, less deflection at the tip, and better alignment in turns. Its incredible stability comes from the carbon fibres that cover it entirely, allowing you to control power on the slopes as well as off-piste.
