1/ Check the operation of the pump's pressure gauge: The gauge on your pump works at a certain pressure within the kayak. During the first use, we recommend blocking the inflation nozzle with your hand and operating your pump: this will allow you to pressurize your gauge, which will make the needle move and verify that it is functioning correctly.
2/ Tightening the kayak valve: We recommend tightening your inflation valve on your kayak before the first use. Use the 6-sided tightening key provided with your kayak, making a quarter turn.
