3M Pneumatic Orbital Sander Diameter 152 mm

Born from 3M's expertise in filtration, the 3M P02462 pneumatic orbital sander is a self-aspirating compressed air version that offers great autonomy and manoeuvrability in all general sanding operations (wood, acrylic plastic, etc.). The dust is directly directed into the compatible 3M bag for this sander, thus all being collected to optimise your work in a much healthier environment.

• The use of clean, lubricated compressed air will provide a measured air pressure to the tool of 6.2 bars when the tool is operating with the lever fully depressed.
• It is recommended to use a certified air line of 10 mm x 8 metres maximum length.
• Ensure the tool is properly connected to the air supply.
• Do not connect the tool to the compressed air circuit without providing an easily accessible shut-off valve.
• It is strongly recommended to use an air filter regulator and lubricator (FRL) that will supply the tool with clean, lubricated air at the correct pressure. In any case, air pressure regulators will always be required if the tool is used with a supply pressure that exceeds the maximum value indicated on the tool.
• If this equipment is not in use, the tool must be manually lubricated:
• Disconnect the air line and pour 2 to 3 drops of pneumatic lubricating oil into the end of the tool's hose.
• Reconnect the tool to the air supply and run the tool slowly for a few seconds to allow the oil to circulate.
• Lubricate the tool daily if it is used frequently or lubricate it when it starts too slowly or loses power.
• The tool can be used at lower pressures but never at a pressure exceeding 6.2 bars. If the tool is used at a reduced pressure, its performance will be diminished.
