This3M 734 Wetordry abrasive paper sheet grain 280is highly abrasive and water-resistant, designed for use on paint, filler products, gel coats, or lacquers. Made from a silicon carbide mineral with an advanced bonding system and a softer backing. Its features provide faster cutting power, greater longevity, and a more uniform finish, resulting in reduced sanding and polishing times.

• Before sanding, equip yourself with a mask, gloves, and protective goggles
• Using a ruler, cut pieces of abrasive suitable for your sanding block to minimise paper waste
• Soak the paper to soften it before sanding the filler to prevent it from breaking
• The abrasive paper must remain well-moistened during operations; otherwise, it will catch on the surface, reducing the effectiveness of the technique
• Smooth the surface with a damp sponge as you sand
